J.O.Y MEDICAL NDEEBA UPGRADING THEATRE.

J.O.Y Medical Centre Ndeeba one of the health facilities under Deliverance Church Uganda Medical ministry is in advanced stages of setting up a modern theatre at the Ndeeba Medical Centre to handle the ever increasing demand for theatre related services.

The ongoing construction has been funded by the Development Associates International (DAI)- Uganda a Non-governmental organization whose major work is  are developing servant leaders.

According Mrs. Dorcas Kizza, the In-charge of J.O.Y Medical Centre Ndeeba (JMC), the upgraded theatre cost of 10,000$(Ten Thousand US Dollars) and will offer services that include:

  • Minor Surgeries (Hernia repairs, Lump excision, sterilization)
  • Obstetric Surgeries like C-Section
  • Abdominal Surgeries like laparotomy, among others.

Mrs. Kizza believes that once completed, the theatre will benefit the community, especially the expectant mothers who are not able to deliver normally. Hence promoting JMC services and reducing on hospital referrals.

The Centre is responding to the 2020 Theme of Deliverance Church Uganda which calls for Enlarging, Lengthening and Strengthening as anchored in Isaiah 54:2. The theatre will be commissioned later this year.

The Private Not-For Profit Medical Centre started  in 1988 with the help of Salt and Light Ministries International.
